Beyond Surface Technologies AG Earns USDA Certified Biobased Product Label for its miDori® bioSoft range of products

Pratteln, (September 10, 2014) - Beyond Surface Technologies AG has earned the USDA Certified Biobased Product Label for its miDori® bioSoft textile finishing products. The USDA Certified Biobased Product Label verifies that the renewable biobased content of the products meets or exceeds levels set by the USDA.(“Biobased products” are defined as finished or intermediate materials composed in whole or in significant part of agricultural, forestry, or marine ingredients.)

Matthias Foessel , CEO Beyond Surface Technologies said “We are delighted that our miDori bioSoft products have been recognized in the USDA Certified Biobased Product Label programme. Our company is focused on the development of textile treatments using sustainable raw materials and we have spent several years developing the unique bioSoft technology, which is now being used by leading brands and retailers. The Label will provide our customers with reassurance that the product is derived almost exclusively from biobased starting materials.” .

All biobased amount claims are verified by independent labs and monitored by the USDA. Consumers may feel secure in the accuracy of the biobased amount and be empowered in making better informed purchasing decisions.
